All-welded stainless steel cartridge
- Operates at 25 bar pressure differential @ 300°C

Designed for maximum economy through cleaning and capable
of operating at 90ºC, SMC cartridges are manufactured from
304 stainless steel mesh which is supplied either rolled as a
wrapped cylinder or pleated for maximum surface area. In both
cases, the mesh is supported by an inner perforated steel core
which is also used for an outer sleeve on the pleated cartridges.
These items are permanently 'potted' with epoxy resin into stainless
steel end-caps onto which are seated buna-n (standard) sealing
gaskets. All mesh seams are stitch-welded.
