With over ten times the surface area of the depth of large
diameter cartridges, the pleated range provides higher flow with
low pressure drops. This not only reduces the size of housing
required and, hence, capital expenditure but, when correctly
specified, pleated cartridges provide a finer, more accurate
form of filtration and longer life. Operator handling is also
improved as even the largest cartridge (40") weighs under
2kg and, more importantly, retains little fluid on cartridge
change-out. All cartridges are also colour-coded to avoid operator
errors.
