Electrolytic Conductivity(EC) has proved to be an economic and reliable method of measuring the solution strength of many commonly used industrial chemicals. including acid and alkali solutions used for metal cleaning and surface preparation prior to finishing, and cleaning in place (CIP) chemicals used in the dairy food and brewing industries. Care should be taken to ensure there is a suitable change in conductivity which can be measured and controlled from.
C3655-K. Solution Strength control kit comprising of conductivity controller and 600mm long dip electrodeless cell select one range from 0 – 20mS, 0 – 200mS or 0 – 2000mS.
The SI315 dip cell is fitted with 3 metres of connecting cable enabling the cell to be mounted adjacent to the controller.
The C3655 controller has a single control point with a delay timer for operation of a chemical additive pump and a 4 – 20mA current output.
C7685-SS-KMicroprocessor based solution strength control kit comprising of C7685 panel mounting controller and SI315 dip cell fitted with a preamplifier which allows the cell to be mounted upto 100 m away from the controller. The instrument can be programmed to read out in either % gr/l or B’e with up to 10 points corresponding to the measured conductivity enabling the display to correspond to selected parts of the graph.
