Large-diameter
housings
The large-diameter range of cartridges offers many advantages.
Not only is there the ability to achieve high flow rates economically
but filtration efficiency is also improved on many depth and
carbon elements due to the contact depth of media being up to
five times that of a standard diameter element. The other major
benefit across the full range is reduced cartridge change-outs
and when a change-out is required handling is reduced, saving
on labour. The housings to suit are available in polypropylene,
polycarbonate and 316 stainless steel.

Plastic large-diameter housings |
- Largest injection-moulded polypropylene housing
- 38°C
- Polypropylene (blue), Polypropylene / Polycarbonate (clear)
Big Blue housings offer the versatility to meet large-capacity
filtration needs. Accepting both 10" and 20" (LD) cartridges,
these extra-large housings allow for greater capacity, reducing
both the number of vessels required for high flow-rate applications
and cartridge change-out frequency. Big Blue housings are compatible
with a broad range of chemicals due to the all-polypropylene
construction. Clear 1" port versions are available with
a polypropylene head and polycarbonate bowl in 10" and 20".

Stainless steel large-diameter
housings |
- Quick cartridge change-outs for high-flow
- 150°C
- Stainless steel
The AXR range of 316 stainless steel housings is uniquely
designed for the LD range of cartridges, enabling particulate
filtration from 100 to 0.5 micron and the use of the full carbon
and water treatment cartridge range. Available in 10", 20",
30" and 40", configured to accept 1, 2 and 5 cartridges,
means flows from 2 to 120m3 per hour can be achieved. Housings
to accept one cartridge have 1" BSP ports; two cartridges
have 2" BSP ports and five cartridges have 4" ASA flange
ports.
