To over-specify a stainless steel housing is easily done;
it achieves the required result but at an unnecessary cost. The
ST range of housings addresses the need for a low-cost vessel
capable of high throughput. Being constructed of 304 stainless
steel in the main, chemical compatibility is broad. However,
the ST range is most popularly situated in feedwater applications
where the desired filtration is 1 micron plus.

The ST range of stainless steel filter housings effectively
provides heavy-duty filtration for smaller filtration systems
and point-of-use applications, with a maximum temperature of
149ºC at 17.2 bar. ST housings are ideal for hot water and
high-pressure applications not suited to plastic housings. The
brushed 304 stainless steel bowls have a 1/4" vent in the
bottom for draining. Heads are manufactured from nickel-plated
cast brass. Cartridge replacement is made easy with the bowl-to-ground
clearance required being just 60mm - ideal for restricted space
applications.
