Tanks - Model BT

Tanks are manufactured in blue rotationally-moulded polyethylene with close fitting lid; standard tanks are of 90 litres to 1932 litres capacity.

Tanks are typically used for break tanks and brine tanks.

Break tanks can be supplied with extras such as float-controlled inlet diaphragm valve, overflow, outlet and low-level switch for raw water pump protection.

Brine tanks tanks can be fed by gravity from bulk salt saturators via a normally-closed diaphragm valve, or the brine tanks can be hand-topped-up with salt. The brine tanks can be supplied with internals, typically consisting of brine level switches for the measured quantity of regenerant and a safety ball-valve float assembly on the inlet feed. Vent and overflow connections can also be provided.

Tanks - Model DT Range

These are specially-designed tanks for the water treatment industry.

They consist of a one-piece moulding, manufactured in MDPE, suitable for use with a range of chemicals (e.g. caustic soda, acids used in pH correction). Tanks calibrated in litres and with split- level top to provide an area for mounting the pumps and/or agitators; standard tanks are from 50 litres to 1000 litres capacity with larger tanks provided on request.

These tanks find extensive use as acid measure tanks for dealkalisation and demineralisation plants. The tank can fed by gravity through a normally-closed diaphragm valve from a bulk storage facility. The tank can be equipped with level switches to measure the quantity of regenerant and safety ball-valve float assembly on the inlet feed vent and overflow connections and screw-fitting lid.

Bunds - for Model DT Range

DT Tanks can be supplied with matching bunds to hold 110 % of the relevant dosing tank capacity.

Tanks - Model ST Range

Large static tanks available from 1100 litres to 9000 litres as standard.

Tanks can be duplex or triplex together to provide larger standard storage capacities, if required. Tanks are suitable for both chemical and water treatment applications. Manufactured in UV-resistant medium-density polyethylene. Completely enclosed with lid and manhole access.

Purpose-built Tanks - Balmoral Range

Derwent Water Services Limited can provide individually-designed purpose-built tanks of sectional construction. The GRP tank panels are hot-press-moulded up to temperatures of 150°C and assembled on site to suit site conditions and space availability. The modular design provides flexibility of assembly on either a prepared flat surface and level concrete foundation, support walls or bearer beams. Standard tank sizes are up to 400,000 litres or 88,000 gallons capacity.
